New Year, New Beginnings

Happy New Year!

We've had a wonderful, busy 2011 in SL, creating new items and making some amazing friends and I hope 2012 brings more of the same. Thank you to everyone who has visited our stores, bought our stuff and made it all so much fun!

We're starting off the new year with the New Beginnings Hunt. Our prize for the hunt is the New Year Wreath. New Beginnings runs from the 1st January to the 31st. Info for the hunt, hints and prizes can be found here and the hunt item is a champagne glass.

Ho Ho Ho! Khargo Free Gift

We love Christmas. If you can't spread some fun and happiness at this time of year, when can you? So we made our Christmas Spacehopper with joy and laughter. We decorated it with all the Christmas fun we could find and made it wearable so you can bounce around SL doing your holiday shopping - or just exploring :) A mesh enabled viewer is needed to see it properly in world.



The Christmas Spacehopper is available for free at the Khargo: Christmas and Winter Store until Friday 9th December. (The vendor is inside the store on the staircase.) Hope you like it :)

POE4 and Silver and Gold

The POE4 Hunt is at the Khargo: Christmas and Winter Store. This year we've made a Christmas Moon.



A beautiful, silvery moon with golden stars and Christmas decorations to sit on while you look down on earth and make a wish :)

Silver and Gold 2 Hunt is also on now at the Khargo Mainstore.



The hunt is on from December 1st through to January 2nd.

Yes, I know it looks back to front - we like to mix things up :)

It's beginning to look a lot like...

Christmas! And we've just put the finishing touches on our Christmas tree. And what a tree!!!

This year we pushed the boat out with a mesh tree, covered with sculpted shiny ornaments, fairy lights, gifts beneath and a gorgeous tree topper above to finish it off.

Four menu driven animations are in the small gift so you can pose with your tree. In the tree skirt you will find a book giver for use with the caroling animation.

At 136 prims, it's possibly one of our highest prim items ever - but it's Christmas so we wanted to be extravagant for once! Copy and modify (in case you need to de-prim slightly)

We wouldn't be Khargo if we also didn't release something cuddly!

Our snuggly offering this week is the Christmas / Winter Cuddle Rug. Our cuddle rug comes with 2 versions - low prim and slightly higher prim :) Ideal for cuddling in front of your tv or fireplace (or Christmas Tree!)

The full version includes candles, hot chocolate and cupcakes, the lower prim version does not have these accessories but still has all the animations of the full version.

Candy Cane 3 Hunt

The 3rd Annual Candy Cane hunt has begun! Running from November 21st to December 25th, it's the hunt event of the Holiday season!

Our 1L$ prize for this hunt is the Christmas Candle. A cute little candle balanced on a pine cone and decorated with a sprig of winter holly, 6 prims and copy so you can rez as many as you like. Perfect for your mantlepiece, table or shelf. The Christmas Candle also compliments the larger Christmas / Winter Candle Set we launched recently as well as our new partial mesh Hanging Candle and Mistletoe Kiss.

Seraphim

When my lovely mate, Vix asked if we'd like to take part in the new round of the Seraphim Blog event, we totally jumped at it, cos she is lovely and works really hard on the blog and is always sooo supportive and upbeat and yeah... all those wonderful things a good friend is.

The fact it had a Thanksgiving theme.. well...that totally bypassed us! Not being from the USA or Canada, we don't do Thanksgiving at all. So while I could pretend that our Tropical Log is for giving thanks for long summer holidays, or maybe that the sun can always shine in SL, really, I guess it's to say "thank you" to everyone who clicks on it, rezzes it on their land and enjoys it (even if it is almost Winter!) :)
